Awesome Gifts For Book Lovers
Alternative headline: Buy me everything on this list immediately.
I was going to say this is a list to help you buy something lovely for the bookworm in your life, but who are we kidding? These gifts are just too beautiful not to keep for yourself.
Bookmarking gorgeous book-themed jewellery, literary homeware and other gifts is one of my favourite forms of procrastination, so here is just some of my favourites I’ve got my eye on at the moment:
Secret Garden Custom Kindle Cover
Why? Because even those of us who resisted a Kindle can’t deny how handy ereaders can be. But this way at least you can make it look like you’re still reading a proper book 🙂
Colourful Book Brooch
Why? Because we all know a book is the absolute best accessory…
Oscar Wilde Quote iPhone Case
£15.00, Literary Emporium
Why? For those moments when you need to channel the great man’s wit OR if you’re as prone to dropping your phone as I am.
Type Writer Large Shopper Bag
£42, The Literary Gift Company
Why? No explanation needed – so purdy!
Book Lover’s Framed Book Art
Why? So you can display your absolute favourite quote for all to see. The only trouble will be picking just one – or in my case deciding that I’ll simply have to buy one for each room (haven’t told the other half that bit yet).
Wizard Glasses Ring
£11, Literary Emporium
Why? So you can pretend your finger is a wizard for a day, and who doesn’t want to do that?? Need to try and find a Snape one and then life will be complete.
The Fault in Our Stars Inspired Book Necklace Charm
from £3.05, Etsy
Why? Etsy has become like a bottomless pit for my bank balance in recent years, there’s just so many talented people out there making things I supposedly can’t live without. Case in point – these adorable little book charms of popular novels.
This will probably be the first post of many of my public wish lists, mainly because I have an obsessive personality and little restraint when it comes to anything book-related. If anyone has made any similar lists, do share 🙂
